The first English Corner activity of the new semester was held on the afternoon of March 9th in classroom A101 of International School. The topic of this issue is Long Holiday. Students discussed their winter holiday experiences.
Teacher Kaniet encouraged students to tell a story about their holiday. Some students complained about learning to drive by themselves, some developed the habit of walking, some learned to play mahjong during the holiday, and some shared the fun of going to the supermarket.
At the end of the activity, the students discussed in groups about ‘how would you spend the holiday if your parents gave you a lot of money’. One group suggested investing or selling, while the other group thought the money should be used for bonding, such as travelling or watching movies.
