In order to cultivate new era compound audit talents with international vision, global horizon and Chinese spirits, International Joint Audit Institution launches “International Audit Lecture”. On the afternoon of Nov.4, 2020, the first “International Audit Lecture” is held in classroom 205 of Zhiyuan Building. Professor Zhou Weipei, dean of Government Audit Institution, brings the lecture of “International Government Audit and Chinese Audit Internationalization” to all teachers and students of International Joint Audit Institute. This lecture is presided by Associate Professor Zhang Wenxiu who is the deputy dean of the International Joint Audit Institute.
Zhou Weipei guides students to get to know the related knowledge system by introducing several important concepts of international government audit, the development history of contemporary government audit and its essential features. He introduces constitutional types of government audit and their representative country. Internationalization process and achievements of China’s audit are showed through precious pictures and materials which makes students have a deeper understanding of the development process and system standards of international government audit, as well as China’s status in international audit.
After the lecture, Zhou Weipei has an active interaction with students by answering the questions asked by the students and encouraging the students to make full use of the international advantages of the institute to improve their comprehensive quality. Students should grasp the trend of the time of big data, trying to become an interdisciplinary compound international audit talent.
