On November 18, International Joint Audit Institute held the third lecture of "International Audit Lecture " and invited Zhang Yi, deputy director of Scientific Research Department of NAU, to give a lecture about "From Data Audit to Big Data Audit". The lecture was presided over by Zhang Wenxiu, deputy dean of International Joint Audit Institute.
Based on data, and the establishment of Electronic Data Audit Department of National Audit Office, Zhang Yi pointed out the development of data and the interrelation between data and audit. He proposed that data audit was to solve the problem of data analysis with computer method and illustrated the essence of data audit in a concise way. Later, Zhang Yi gave the students a more concrete understanding of "big data" through three real-life examples: real-time computing on Baidu Map, DiDi's vehicle scheduling algorithm, and the recommendation system of Taobao and browser.
Combined with the current application of data audit, Zhang Yi showed the students the path of data audit to big data audit from three different technical perspectives: traditional method, OCR display and picture extraction, demonstrated the application of new technology and new method in data audit and United Nations audit. He suggested that students should broaden their horizon, learn new technologies and methods, be skeptical and keep exploring, with assumptions about problems and scenarios.
Finally, Zhang Wenxiu encouraged students to establish a sense of continuous learning and lifelong learning, and to improve their learning ability to adapt to the rapid development of the era. In the applause of the students, the lecture came to a successful end.
